I have not been posting anything for a number of days. It was because i was overseas and there was no internet. Right now i’m having a hard time to process all the photos and this is going to be a super long post about my trip.

Day 1

Gwen , Gaius , Altricia , Jasvin and I went to Indonesia for a trip. We left SG early in the morning , the flight was 1 hour plus. When we landed in Jakarta Altricia’s father came to pick us up from the airport. From the airport , Altricia’s father brought us somewhere to eat lunch.

This was a photo of the place that we went to eat our lunch. We went to a restaurant to eat cow ribs? I forgot what type of ribs it was that but i tasted AWESOME :D

After that we went to buy things for the orphanage that we were going to the next day. We also shopped for some snacks to eat at night.

Day 2

We woke up early in the morning to eat breakfast with altricia’s parents. Then we went to buy some toys for the children in the orphanage before going there.

This is a photo of the place. It was crowded but it was some what similar to Thailand’s night market. At 3pm+ we went to the orphanage. It took 2 hours to go there. When we reached there we gave out the food that we bought for them and also played games with them.

This is a photo of us giving out the food :D Just seeing the smile on their faces means a lot. We have to appreciate the people around and not take them for granted. Maybe a lot people have said that before but when really see them you would learn to cherish because this was an experience that i will never forget.

After that, we went to a shopping mall just to have our dinner and shop. I was craving badly for a cup of starbucks! So before we were about to go home we went to starbucks and I got a cup :D

This is me :D with my cup of vanilla latte! After that we went back and all of us watched a movie. Except Jasvin who went to sleep early.

Day 3

As usual we woke early and ate breakfast. We pack our bags to go to a theme park! 

This was the BEST ride there. But sadly i vomited during one of the other ride. After that , I felt super sick and a bit weak. It took me a long while to go back to a normal state :D We played until the theme park closed and we went back to pack our bags again. This time we went to Altricia’s father hotel to stay there for one night. It was a 3 hours trip , when we reached there we just went to sleep.

Day 4

Woke up and ate breakfast ….. BLAH BLAH BLAH. Then we got ready to play jet ski and banana boat.

It was the first time i drove a jet ski. It was fun! Just feeling the wind blowing past your face, it felt awesome.

The banana boat was also fun, except when you capsize and people hit you in the face. After that we left the place and went back to Jakarta. We ate Ba Ku Teh , it was awesome to eat chinese food after such a long time :D

After we ate our dinner , we went for a massage! They had wifi there so i could tweet. The massage was relaxing! When we went back home we played billiard before sleeping.

Day 5

On the 5th day we went to an open zoo. It was my 2nd time going to an open zoo. It was another 2 hours ride , by then we were sick and tired of sitting in the car! But we still went to the zoo , it was high up in a mountain area. It was cold and half way through it rain heavily.

We bought food to feed the animals while we were driving along the trail. After that we got off the car and ate lunch before going to explore the rest of the zoo.

We went to a place where we saw a number of birds. It felt like jurong bird park. After that we went back to Jakarta to eat street food it was awesome. Went back and Gwen was the first one to sleep. Then we talked till late night and slept.

Day 6

We woke up and decided to go ice staking. We went to this mall , it was huge. We all wore shorts and slippers. We ate our lunch before going in to ice stake.

The ring was huge! and it was super cold in there. We wore shorts and all of us were freezing. Gwen and Gaius thought Altricia how to ice skate. We ice stake for 2 hours before leaving there.

We saw this sticky shop which just opened on the day that we went to the mall but we didn’t buy anything :D and also a gigantic Yupi dragon made out of gummy bears. After that we to starbucks to collect a free drink, after we did their online survey. I got a dark mocha frappe and it tasted AWESOME! I was sort of addicted to starbucks when i was at Indo , because it was slightly cheaper there. After that we went to watch tin tin . The animation was amazing the best i have ever seen.

Day 7

On that day we woke up and discuss where we should go because it was our last day there . It took us awhile before we could decide. We went Waterbom Park, it was like a water theme park just like wild wild wet but it was bigger but not better.

After that we went to eat shabu-shabu!!!! It was our last night there so the parents brought us to this restaurant on the 30th floor to eat shabu-shabu. THE VIEW WAS AMAZING! Sadly the glass was reflective so you can’t see much of the outside. It was the first time i went to this type of restaurant.

After that we went to eat ice cream. Altricia’s parent brought us to the oldest ice cream shop in Indonesia (I think). The ice cream was amazing. After eating the ice cream we went back to play billiard for the last time.

Day 8

On the last day we pack our luggage and we went to giant to buy food to bring back to SG. After that we went to grand indonesia shopping center (if i remember correctly) to let Jasvin shop at Adidas. 

After that we went back a got our luggage and went to the airport. We checked in our luggage and went to drink starbucks! we all bought a tumbler before going back to SG and sat at the starbucks to drink our coffee.

We almost missed our flight but in the end we made it back to SG. When i exited the arrival hall there stood my beloved CG :D They picked me up , my dad came and took my luggage and brought it home. I went to church to meet Nadine and the people in church. The best place is still home!

This trip was amazing! As friends we bonded closer together and I learnt a lot too. Just want to thank Altricia parents! They really took care of us and even paid for most of our meals! They are such nice and sweet people , I will remember them.
